How It Works
Contact me to discuss your project direction, needs and pricing .
Pre-Production
Pre-production (Demo/Roughdraft) is the planning phase for the entire album. It’s where we will take your song in its simplest form (usually a guitar-vocal, piano-vocal, or basic beat) and plan out how we will build the recording around it.
This is a crucial phase of the entire process. You can liken recording an album to starting a business. You need a business plan. If you jump in without a plan, you’ll most likely end up scratching your head at the end of the project, wondering why you hadn’t planned things out more carefully.
Production
The goal is to enter into the major recording phase of production with the basic and most promising ideas having been already established.
Post-Production
After the recording stage produced audio has two more stages, mixing and mastering. When the first mix round is done, I will link you your file so you can listen and make changes of up to two 1/2hr revisions for free.
Remote Mixing
Step 1
Export your files in WAV or AIFF format in the DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) you used to record your songs. If you used a recording engineer separate from yourself or at a studio, ask them for your tracks and they will be able to send them to you.
Step 2
Bring in or upload your files to https://www.wetransfer.com and send them to posteritystudio@gmail.com. Or you can also use a cloud storage such as Dropbox or Google Drive, and link the files to me.
Step 3
When the first mix round is done, I will link you your file so you can listen and make changes of up to two revisions for free.
Step 4
Once you are satisfied, I will bill you an invoice via PayPal and send you your final files once payment is received.
